Tracking the Malaria Culprit

چکیده
s a tool for analysis and decision making, GIS and remote sensing opened a new horizon for monitor and control of diseases. Information on landuse, water bodies, vegetation, forest cover and others can be used as data sets in GIS for mapping of disease receptivity and identification of risk factors. GIS offers new and expanding opportunities to look into disease epidemiology. Even when used minimally, these systems allow a spatial perception on the disease.

Tracking the Culprits: Making One-Way Constraint GUIs More Responsive
In this paper, we analyze performance characteristics of four prior one-way constraint maintenance implementation techniques, emphasizing how these characteristics influence responsiveness, and introduce a lazy optimization technique called culprit tracking. While culprit tracking is not a panacea in terms of raw speed, its performance characteristics significantly improve the consistency of re...

متن کاملConservation Efforts May Increase Malaria Burden in the Brazilian Amazon
BACKGROUND Large-scale forest conservation projects are underway in the Brazilian Amazon but little is known regarding their public health impact. Current literature emphasizes how land clearing increases malaria incidence, leading to the conclusion that forest conservation decreases malaria burden. Yet, there is also evidence that proximity to forest fringes increases malaria incidence, which ...

Background: Due to the greenhouse gases emission caused by human activities there is wide agreement about global warming. Methane is one of the most dangerous greenhouse gases in the global warming process which is produced through human activities and natural processes. In addition, the use of fertilizers and chemical pesticides would produce nitrogen monoxide in the atmosphere. This gas is an...
